Greyson Kilgore

Head Coach

Greyson is an elite Hybrid athlete and all around adventure enthusiast. In 2024 Greyson finished second in the Deka Fit World Championship, Set a world record in the DEKA FIT co-ed relay with KC team captain Katie Duke, and landed on 4 out of 6 Elite podiums.

From 2017-2020 Greyson raced as a member of the Spartan pro team, focusing on 5k-10k distance obstacle course races. Before entering the world of OCR he competed as an NCAA DII track and field athlete in the pole vault and decathlon.

Greyson Is an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and has experience coaching all ages and backgrounds. As a coach Greyson wants to Increase an athletes overall capability. For some this might involve competing at an elite level. For others this means increasing longevity in the pursuits that they love. Greyson believes that an athlete should enjoy their training and the freedom it offers them. the ability to run, jump, climb, lift, and carry is a gift. The opportunity to compete and pursue adventure can be a celebration of that gift.

When Katie isn’t daylighting as the director of an Athlete oriented PT clinic, she’s dominating Deka events, cruising through OCR courses, and smashing Hyrox races. In 2024 Katie finished 4th in the DEKA FIT world championship, 3rd in the Deka mile Elite race, and stood on 3 out of 6 podiums for the weekend.

Before Katie found hybrid racing and OCR she was playing NCAA D1 soccer, starting at South Carolina, and finishing at Boise State.

Katie serves as the team captain of the KC racing team— The Chase Pack. Katie wants life long athletes and parents to know that their athletic pursuits are worth all the time, money, and passion that we invest in them. She believes the way that we pursue health and fitness will positively impact our children and greater community.

Steve Kilgore

Director of Off Trail Athletics

Steve is the original coach Kilgore! After 30+ years of coaching track and cross country at the high school level, OG coach Kilgore joined the KC team as the Director of Off Trail Athletics in 2024. Steve is a master outdoorsman, spending most of his recreational time on foot and off trail. He loves shed hunting, back packing, big game hunting, and climbing mountains “just to see new country.”

Steve is a certified NASM personal trainer, and is passionate about helping outdoor athletes experience longevity in their pursuits. He has a “live to fight another day” mentality that helps athletes stay injury free and ready to face the elements.
